A circus trick

Life is a fragile being.
So fragile that men try to protect it from its own frailty.
It is carefully built like a palace of cards and comes as easily down like it never was.
The hopeful believe in its strength to stand. The realist is ready to pick up the pieces.
It makes us all weak. It's strength is in believing it was never meant to be.
Yet we play along this charade, making mockery of our existence
Yet we hold dear this life, for it's one in a million possibility to be.
