Open it.

So much of canvas spread in front of you. Acres and Acres. And nothing to limit your imagination.
The tools in your hands, the greatness inside you. Walk with it. Fight with it. Wake up to it.
The time was never right. The place was never going to change. It was all inside you. Within your bundled soul lies the keys to leave this world behind. Open it.

The IFs and BUTs.

                IFs

If you're running away,
Run fast and Far,

If you're choosing to stay,
Stay here and now.

If you've forgotten the feeling,
Don't remember, not ever.

If you've missed the living,
Come back, welcome home.

If you've ever Loved,
Love yourself, nobody else.

              BUTs

But you did leave,
I am back now.

But you choose that,
And Im choosing now.

But you buried the past,
It doesn't go away.

But you were dead,
Not long enough anyway.

But you killed the love,
I had to let you go.

Senses. Numb.

Ever feel yourself sinking,
letting go of the surface,
that you held on for far too long.
Ever feel yourself letting go,
willingly surrender yourself,
having lost your faith in reality.
Ever feel the need to wake up,
from this dream that was built for you,
to hold you in your cocoon.
Ever feel like numbing your senses,
stabbing the pain out,
only to know you'll bleed out.
Ever feel like sinking.

Man of the Hour!

The man of the hour.

He's a drunk, never sober.
He's lazy and forgetful.
And he was the man.
Man of the hour.

He fought his battles,
at the closing hours.
He chose to run,
rather than wait inside.
He was the man.
Man of the hour.

He lived his sober life,
In the dreams of his past self.
He hoped he got back there,
To the past self, time.
But he was the man.
Man of the hour.

I am the Man!
And it is my time now.
And I choose to act.
It is my time,
For I am the man for the hour.

Tear up now.

So there we were,
In our little infinity.
Holding on to whatever that was left of us.
As we wished time to stall
and life to go on.

Maybe years later,
I'd come back for this.
This little envelope of time,
in which we shared our love,
warmth and let it go.

I'd stand outside,
looking at us make the same mistakes
Over and over again.
Knowing somewhere deep down,
That there was no right decision there.
Only love. And loss.

A star kissed world.

Its as cold,
as we're Old.
Your memories etched.
Our lives stretched.
You and I,
another night under this sky.
Like yesterday and before,
for tomorrow and beyond.
The fire burning bright,
our hopes kindled right.
The light on your face,
casting shadows onto mine.
I ask you if we should wake up,
you want to hold on.
Under our limitless sky,
to our star kissed world.

Symmetry.

Right is left,
It left us a long ago.
Up is down,
Down that lonely road.
Light is dark,
Dark skin on light.
With is without,
Without your aching soul.

Noon is night,
That night your makeup smudged.
Strong is weak,
Your scent and my weak heart.
Shallow is deep,
Deep into my soul you looked.
Empty is full,
Full of our crazies.

Together is alone,
Alone one looked on.
End is beginning,
The beginning to our end.
